Sesame Street

Working on longest street in the world

Over my nine years at Sesame Workshop, I helped define the visual POV for our adult marketing. As Design Lead, I owned the look and feel of our domestic social channels—working side-by-side with marketing managers on campaigns, building time-saving design systems, and keeping content fresh through constant experimentation. Beyond social, I served as the go-to marketing designer across the organization, creating everything from digital ads and newsletters to global standards that kept international teams aligned.

Social media that uplifts and educates

I worked hand-in-hand with our social team to brainstorm and create content that tapped into deep nostalgia while staying right in the middle of current internet conversations. Together, we took big, organization-wide educational initiatives and translated them for adult social audiences—modifying the tone and visual approach so that real learning felt natural, engaging, and shareable.

As Design Lead, I helped build an audience of over 30 million cross-platform followers and snag multiple industry awards during my tenure. Leveraging smart design frameworks with nostalgia, trend, and educational content meant our feeds didn't just rack up huge impression counts, but turned casual scrollers into a super active adult community.

Designing solutions for everyone

I worked closely with domestic and international teams to support marketing that clicked with a wide variety of audiences, both domestically and globally. To make everyone's life easier, I built plug-and-play templates that saved real time and budget while keeping our visual voice consistent. I also shared branding insights and best practices across regional hubs, giving local teams the tools to stay aligned.

Fresh looks, classic characters

Rooted in the original, scrappy creative spirit of early Sesame Street, an important part of the work was constantly experimenting with fresh visual styles to keep the legacy brand moving forward. By staying locked into current visual culture and trend, I was able to deliver high-impact, forward-looking content that kept our audiences engaged without losing the nostalgic heart of the brand.
